Sandia National Laboratories

PM tec has provided as many as 58 full-time project management/project controls staff on-site at Sandia National Laboratories/NM and Sandia National Laboratories/Livermore, CA through more than 75 separate Purchase Orders. PM tec is contracted to provide Earned Value Management (EVM) and Project Management services including:

  • Supporting EVM implementation through conducting systems reviews and gap analyses, development of process and procedures, and conducting risk analysis
  • Providing project controls personnel on short- and long-term assignments to develop and manage baseline schedules (Oracle Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project) and review and evaluate project performance using EVM techniques
  • Conducting Project Management training including use of Project Management tools and techniques
  • Supporting other programmatic and project needs including development of project management process and procedures, facilitating development of Project Management Plans (PMPs)/Project Execution Plans (PEPs), conducting independent project reviews, supporting requirements development and management, supporting development of strategic plans, and supporting IT/System Implementation and Management

PM tec senior staff have conducted multiple EVMS reviews and provided plans for performance improvement of the processes, procedures and systems employed. Programs supported included W88, B61, and SEP.

PM tec has provided Project Management Training to SNL through private (SNL-specific training on-site and at PM tec classroom) and through our public training courses (PM tec classroom)
