Scheduling & Schedule Controls
PM tec has extensive experience in supporting the project controls efforts for large, multi-year, construction, environmental, and security projects. We have developed and documented a series of ‘best practices’ in planning and scheduling that are leveraged by our associates in order to provide the best planning and scheduling services for our clients. Our scheduling professionals are experts in the development and maintenance of cost and resource-loaded Critical Path Management (CPM) schedules. Additional services related to scheduling include the development and maintenance of custom data structures, baseline change control processes, determination of cost and schedule variances, variance analysis, and the preparation/distribution of performance reports.
Performance Management and Analysis
PM tec has significant experience and proprietary tools that facilitate an organizations’ analysis and management of project performance. Whether your organization needs to standardize a basic budget/cost management process or implement a full ANSI-compliant Earned Value Management system, we can assist you with the system design and deployment, process and procedure development and documentation, staff training, and system evaluation and surveillance. Project Management & Software Training
PM tec has developed an extensive selection of both project management and software training courses. Our courses are designed to address the competency and skill level of each of our students. Most work in conjunction with other courses, each providing the foundation to improve the skills, and capabilities of the student as they progress through a series of classes. As a Registered Education Provider, PM tec complies with the criteria established by the Project Management Institute (PMI) to ensure that each course is consistent with PMI’s global standards. PMI requires that each Registered Education Provider demonstrate organizational maturity as a project management training provider and provide evidence of quality product design, delivery and content.
Program Controls Software Administration
As an Oracle Partner and Oracle University Partner, many of our associates are certified in the configuration and administration of Oracle’s Primavera Project Management (P6) software. Many also have experience with other project management/scheduling products such as Microsoft Project, Open Project, Deltek MPM, as well as legacy Primavera products such as P3, SureTrak, and Contractor. Our more experienced administrators have the capability to develop interfaces to financial, reporting, and BIM systems, populate tables via APIs and SDKs, and administer database software such as Oracle and Microsoft SQL.
