Course No. PM-206
Cost: $695 per Student
PDU’s: 8
Prerequisite: None
Course/Skill Level: Fundamental, Intermediate
Participants in this course will review the basic earned value metrics, their relationship to earned value indices and variances, and potential sources of variance. Techniques for identifying and validating root cause will be discussed, as will the relationship between cause analysis and project performance forecasting. Participants will apply the lessons from the course in a workshop that takes a sample project from establishing the initial performance baseline to identifying and analyzing variances at several points during the project life cycle.
Learning Objectives: Earned Value Refresher, How to Establish the performance measurement Baseline (PMB), Relationship of planned value (PV), Earned Value (EV), and actual cost (AC) explained, Understanding of Cost Variance, Identify & Analyze Cost & Schedule Variances, Performance forecasting, Calculating estimates at completion (EAC).
