This four-hour course provides an overview of the value of project scheduling and best practices for use in developing and managing cost and resource-loaded schedules for use in a project management environment requiring earned value management environment.
At the conclusion of this course, participants will be familiar with methods related to schedule organization and the process of developing the project schedule to accurately plan and assess project progress towards identified project deliverables and milestones. Participants will also understand the importance of the Critical Path Method and understand how schedule constraints and cost/resource estimating can impact performance-based forecasting and the calculation of earned value management data.
An overview of common techniques related to the review and evaluation of the project schedule baseline and performance analysis will be provided.
